This product is a qualitative in vitro diagnostic (IVD) to identify O-antigen of Salmonella spp, Shigella spp, V. cholerae, E. coli based on the slide agglutination test mechanism (Antigen-antibody interaction). This product uses fecal samples pre-tested by a primary preliminary identification by enrichment and selective culture, and a secondary biochemical assay (INViC test). The cultured fecal samples are mixed with each E. coli antiserum on a slide to be tested.
